Popful Mail: Magical Fantasy Adventure (ぽっぷるメイル, Poppuru Meiru, lit. 'Popple Mail') is a side-scrolling platformer developed by Nihon Falcom and published by Sega for the Mega CD/Sega CD add on. The game was released in Japan on April 1, 1994, and in North America on February 23, 1995.

Falcom originally developed the title for the NEC PC that features systems from previousgames released by Falcom like the Dragon Slayer and Ys series. They used the battle system of Ys, featuring the magic style from Ys II, and used the the side-scrolling battle view of Ys III. Characters also react with pain when they fall from high places, similar to that of Dragon Slayer IV (released as Legacy of the Wizard in North America).

The gameplay of Popful Mail was compared to that of the Metroid series by some critics, and is retroactively considered to be part of metroidvania genre.

The games soundtrack was composed by Atsushi Shirakawa, Mieko Ishikawa, and the Falmcom Sound Team.
