That's it, the third and last NES main Castlevania theme, along with Vampire Killer and Bloody Tears. The only one with an "unfitting" name, compared to the other 2, but in 1989 this was clearly meant as more than just the beginning of the game: it signified the beginning of the timeline too, and so it did for 15 years (barring Legends).
"Beginning" is one of the most upbeat songs in the OST and greatly introduces the game to the player: the first block is one of the best of the game imo (not counting hard mode bs), not too difficult, but the abandoned village is a nice location to start from.

Being one of the most recognizable themes in the series, it's not surprising to find countless remixes of it.
