Boss: Medusa - 09:03

Burnt Paradise is... Well, nothing worth mentioning since it's basically a copy of Nation of Fools and that map was already boring and annoying. I got nothing to note except the two HP and MP Max Ups that are relatively easy to get save a few problems with Rippers.

Medusa isn't a terribly difficult boss, but the biggest problems here are finding a reliable way to damage her (she has high MND that renders most elemental weapons useless) and a weapon with safe reach as she bobbles and waves everywhere making the usage of even weapons like Royal Sword and Alucard's Spear somewhat risky. Heaven's Sword is also safe, but sort of weak dealing 19 damage per hit with my current statuses.

I went for Undead Killer since that whip has decent power and reach to fight Medusa. On top of that the whip wiggle is great to destroy the summoned Medusa Heads the boss loves to do every now and then. Of course Vampire Killer is even better, but since not everyone is able to beat Richter on Hard Lv.1 I figured I should show another way to defeat Medusa.

Watch out when you go to attack Medusa while she's morphing into a snake and back to her normal form as her hitboxes grows smaller and bigger in a fraction of second, this can easily catch you off guard and ended a fair share of good runs in Burnt Paradise for me.

On a last note, you get Jet Black Whip after killing the boss here. If you still have to defeat Whip's Memory (Richter Belmont), that weapon can be a good helping hand for you.

* Played on Hard difficulty at Max Level 1 cap.
* Done on fresh new game (no New Game+ items or benefits AT ALL).
* NO Ancient Armor, Vic Viper, Twin Bee or Konami Man, and any Boss Rush reward.
* Grinding for items, equipment and mastery will done off-screen between videos. I won't use items of areas I haven't visited yet.
* NO Wind duplication item glitch will be used here.
* I won't abuse of certain utterly broken stuff like Miser Ring + Gold Ring + Gold grind.
