I really liked Portrait of Ruin. Just when you thought the Metroid-like Castlevanias could not be original anymore, Portrait gives you something new. Going into paintings was a cool idea, switching characters on the fly between Jonathan and Charlotte was cool, and being directly linked to the Mega Drive / Sega Genesis Bloodlines game was a nice touch, too. I also really liked Jonathan's auto-targeting whip, I gotta say. I briefly try Richter mode and Stella & Loretta mode at the end, but not more.
The Japanese title, "Akumajou Dracula Gallery of Labyrinth" translates to, uhhh, well, "Demon Castle Dracula... Gallery of Labyrinth". Nice Engrish.
