I've done a lot of challenge runs on this video, but this was by far the most grueling footage to collect. By the end of my attempts, I didn't even feel like I was playing a game anymore; I was just performing a set of arbitrary inputs. So I don't expect to do something like this again in the foreseeable future. However, I've now gained a new level of respect for speedrunners and how hard they must have to work to put up impressive times.

This is the last Castlevania video I'll be uploading - hope it serves as a satisfying finale.

P.S: This run is in violation of speedrun.com rules because I was reloading from a save state at file select (for convenience) rather than restarting the game after every failed attempt. Reloading from save states is against the rules because it can apparently be used to fix RNG - no clue how that works since I was getting plenty of RNG, but in any case I won't be submitting it there. This is just for me and you guys.
