Chasm is an Indie, Side Scrolling, Action RPG with Procedural Generation and Pixel Graphics by Bit Kid, Inc.
Chasm is a True 2D, Side Scroller Metroidvania. It has a real Castlevania Feel, specifically Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, as Chasm combines the RPG mechanisms, focus on Mobility, and interesting Subweapons with the Rogue-Lite formula of Intense, Meaningful Action, and Procedural Generation. A Winning Combination in my book :).

Combine that Awesome influence with a touch of something even older: Ys III, the old NES game.
Playing Chasm, I get a massive Ys III feeling, though Higher Res and more Detailed, and without the forced Lvl grinding. The Descent into the old mine, the Focus on Jumping and avoiding enemy strikes, the epic Side Scrolling Action.
