Castlevania: Simon's Destiny is an amazing Castlevania fangame made by Andrea Gori, aka. Batandy, who is known for Doom: The Golden Souls series. It is the faithful recreation of the original Castlevania turning into the first person action game with the Doom engine, and it looks quite gorgeous. The enemies have been faithfully recreated in the Doom engine as well, and the bosses are fairly challenging. Just like the original Castlevania on the NES, you get to play as Simon Belmont, the vampire killer who uses his whip to defeat his enemies, and he gets to fight against Dracula at the end of the game. It includes six levels, six bosses, four sub-weapons (five including the stopwatch), & the ability to upgrade the whip. You get to collect hearts as ammo by whipping the candles, and you get some health by finding pork chops by breaking the walls. This game has used songs from different video game composers, & they suited the levels quite well.

Finally, there's also the easter egg that represents the video game reviewer you know and love. Castlevania: Simon's Destiny is an outstanding game that pays tribute to the Castlevania series, and Batandy has done an outstanding job. I give props to him for making such great projects.
