10This video demonstrates how to make a very good starting character. Only adjustments to difficulty are 30 starting points, 18 max trait points, .5 spawn right. I feel this leaves the game easy enough to let you enjoy it for a long time, while still being a challenge.
Even though this is a "what not to do" video, you should still not skip it. I do explain a lot of gameplay basics.
Decided to make tutorial series for this game. My experience when I was new to this game is all the tutorial videos are too old now to be helpful, and most people doing Let's Plays are so advanced they actually make the game harder for challenge(which... I don't even know).
