Cavalcadence plays Eli 1: Bombs Away! (All Zones Mode)
For anybody who's interested in custom Cadences (or other characters), the official NecroDancer FAQ has some info about creating custom characters, and even has a link to the pinned thread on the official forums, where people have posted some of their custom creations:

So... the Ring of Phasing seems to be really useful for Eli! This was the first time I'd found a Ring of Phasing with Eli... and it basically carried me through the entire run (including Zone 4, which I'd never gotten to with Eli before!). =)
Anyway, for those of you unfamiliar with Eli, he's the character who has no weapons... but does have infinite bombs. And he can kick them. And he has a shovel for a hand. He's the "Uncle Eli" Cadence talks about in the Tutorial, and from what I understand, he's Dorian's older brother.
Eli has had some adjustments since his initial introduction, but at the time of this recording, I think the following is accurate:
- Eli has no weapon, and cannot acquire one.
- Eli has infinite bombs.
- If adjacent to a bomb, Eli can kick it (by moving towards it) to send it three tiles (or less if something solid is in the way) in the direction of the kick. This works both for his own bombs and for bombs from bomb traps.
- One of Eli's hands has been replaced with a shovel. Because his shovel is a part of him, I think Eli cannot acquire a different shovel.
Eli & the Ring of Phasing:
- Eli can drop a bombs while inside a wall.
- Bombs inside walls cannot be kicked.
- Bombs inside walls have the normal blast radius, and will damage enemies outside of the wall.
- If a bomb is next to a wall, Eli can kick it from inside the wall.
Anyway, here's my first ever Eli win in All Zones Mode... hope you enjoy!
The Zone 1 mini-bosses and boss I encountered during this run were:
- Minotaur, Direbat, Gray Minotaur, and King Conga 1.
The Zone 2 mini-bosses and boss I encountered during this run were:
- Banshee, Red Dragon, Gray Minotaur, and Deep Blues 2.
The Zone 3 mini-bosses and boss I encountered during this run were:
- Blue Dragon, Gray Minotaur, Blood Nightmare, and Death Metal 3.
The Zone 4 mini-bosses and boss I encountered during this run were:
- The Mommy, Ogre, Green Banshee, and Coral Riff 4.

0:27 Leather Armor. Armor should help, given that I'm still not used to Eli, and I'm likely to bomb myself at least once or twice (or more!) during the run...

1:36 I decide to go back for the Ring of Phasing... which turns out to be one of the best decisions of this run. =)
