Cavalcadence plays Eli 5: Hard Mode! (Hard Mode, AMPLIFIED)


For anybody who's interested in custom Cadences (or other characters), the official NecroDancer FAQ has some info about creating custom characters, and even has a link to the pinned thread on the official forums, where people have posted some of their custom creations:

So I decided to give Eli Hard Mode a try. As expected, his ability to blow up any blue sarcophagus he wants to is definitely very useful! =) But since he's a character who can't attack from close range without taking damage... the more crowded conditions of Hard Mode can definitely cause him some problems... especially in Zone 3. ^^;

I think Hard Mode Zone 3 and Deep Blues (+2 mini-bosses) gave me the most problems... for basically the same reason (crowded conditions where you don't always have enough room to be able to retreat properly). I figured once I got past Zone 3, things would become easier... and I was mostly right. =) The first time I got to Zone 4, I made it all the way to the boss... who turned out to be Deep Blues 4 (who ended my run). ^^;

And then several runs later, this run happened. Despite making more careless mistakes than in my previous run, I somehow made it to the Zone 5 boss for the first time ever... but of course the boss happened to be Deep Blues 5. ^^;;; Anyway, though it wasn't the prettiest boss battle ever... I did manage to make it through! =)

So here it is... my first ever Eli Hard Mode win! Hope you enjoy!
