So I was working on some Mary speedrun attempts, basically trying for a sub-12 (based on my sub-15 run, I was pretty sure improving to a sub-12 should be possible!)... and for once, I was playing relatively well (making fewer mistakes than usual for my speedrun attempts!). Unfortunately, I still wasn't able to get a sub-15, let alone a sub-12... =/
Until this run. =) An early Glass Shrine, Monocle, Freeze Spell, and Ring of Peace basically carried the rest of the run (1-hit kills for most mini-bosses, safe trapdoors, Freeze strats for some of the bosses, etc, etc)... though of course I did still make a few careless mistakes along the way. ^^; Fortunately, none of them resulted in the lamb getting hit, and I managed to end up with not just my first ever sub-12, but my first ever sub-9:30 with Mary! ^_^
