For anybody who's interested in custom Cadences (or other characters), the official NecroDancer FAQ has some info about creating custom characters, and even has a link to the pinned thread on the official forums, where people have posted some of their custom creations:

So recently, I was thinking about how Mary and Monk are arguably the two most unforgiving non-Coda characters to play (i.e. no matter how powerful your build, a single mistake (of a specific type) will probably (Mary!) or definitely (Monk!) end your run (i.e. unlike Aria, who can collect items that will allow her to survive multiple mistakes))...

Which got me thinking... if Mary had existed when Coda was added to the game... Coda probably would've had Mary's curse in addition to Monk's...

Which got me thinking... I wonder what it'd be like to play through the game with both Mary's and Monk's curses at the same time... a sort of "Vow of Poverty Mary"?

So I gave it a try (or as close as possible without modding the game)! And... it took a little while to get used to, but after a number of failed attempts... I finally got the 0-gold win! =)
