Cavalcadence plays Monk 30: Score run, 11k+ gold! (All Zones Mode: AMPLIFIED)
So, on a relatively recent Monk run, I actually ended up with 9000+ gold... on a run that was basically a normal run (not a score run) through the first three Zones. ^.^
Which got me thinking, since I got 9k on what was kind of a half-score-run... if I did an actual score run, and put in a little extra effort on maximizing gold... I could probably break 10k... right? ^^;
So I gave it a try. =)
Long story short, it took more than a few tries... but I finally got the 10k+ win! =) So anyway, here's the video... hope you enjoy!

2:16 Hmm, I guess the start of a run is a good time to play more risky and less conservatively... let's see what we get. ^^
2:19 Spear. Ah well, could've been worse. ^^; Though I guess a throwable weapon could end up useful if I encounter a Health Shop.

2:52 A gold weapon would be useful for a gold run... but armor would definitely be nice! Hmm... let's come back afer seeing what else is available on this level. ^^

6:43 Walled shop would be nice to get into, but... Oh wait, what's that in that room over there?

6:52 Hmm, I could use the blood shovel and a bomb to get into the shop... but then I'd have to use my last bomb on the stairs... and I'd rather not use all of my bombs this early in the run. Especially on a score run, where a bomb is essentially worth 50 gold...
7:12 I kind of want the Regen... but again, at this point in the run, I think I want to keep at least 1 bomb, so... =/
