So this is something I've been thinking about for a while... whether it'd actually be possible to Accelerate-only S+ a VPC4 Collider run. ^.^;

I suspected that, once I figured out a decent Accelerate-only strategy for the first phase, the rest would probably (hopefully!) more or less fall into place... until the Liquorice battle.

The Liquorice battle on the other hand... while normally you can prevent Liquorice from picking up a colored powerup simply by picking it up before she does... in an Accelerate-only run, if the powerup is red or blue... you can't. Which definitely could be a problem, if she picks up a Shutdown or something at exactly the wrong time... ^^;;


Anyway, I finally got around to giving Accelerate-only VPC4 Collider a try, and... sure enough, the inability to pick up non-yellow powerups during the Liquorice battle definitely caused some problems. =p After a bit more practice (and failed runs), though... I found a combination of strategy, timing, and level of aggressiveness that seemed to work fairly well for an Accelerate-only Liquorice battle...

And then this run happened. =) Yep, it's my first ever Accelerate-only VPC4 Collider S+! Anyway, here's the video... hope you enjoy!
