Cavalcadence plays Nocturna 25: Speedrun, sub-13min (All Zones Mode: AMPLIFIED)
So as a bit of a change of pace, I thought I'd play some Nocturna runs. Looking through my previous videos, I realized that I hadn't done any actual Nocturna speedrun attempts after getting the "Like a Bat" achievement (sub-15 speedrun). And though I'm definitely a bit out of practice with Nocturna speedruns... I thought it might be fun to give it a try. So I did. =)
Anyway, after a number of not-so-impressive speedrun attempts, the game decided to give me 1-1 Magic Ham... and this run happened. =) And while I definitely made some mistakes along the way... I actually ended up beating my previous best! ^^
So here it is... my first ever sub-13 Nocturna win! Hope you enjoy!

5:07 Ow. =p Was planning on attacking the hellhound, then noticed the purple goblin, suddenly realized it could knock Nocturna onto the hot coals if the parry wasn't handled properly, decided maybe it'd be best to retreat a little, just to be safe... and retreated right into the hound's attack. =p

5:57 Spiked Ears! Nice! Now Nocturna doesn't have to transform in order to open those boxes and barrels! =)

10:59 Okay, not the best Frankensteinway battle, definitely took some damage... oh, but I have Ham! Hmm, only 3 hearts down, but maybe I should use the Ham anyway...

12:02 Parry doesn't protect against floor shock, right? ...yeah, that's what I thought. ^^; Only took a little bit of damage, though, thanks to the Heavy Plate. ^_^
