Cavalcadence plays Nocturna 26: Speedrun, sub-12min (All Zones Mode: AMPLIFIED)
So I thought I'd try some more Nocturna speedrun attempts. Especially since I realized I'd completely forgotten about using bombs on the Zone 5 boss battles, in my recent sub-13. ^^;; Of course, I did only have 2 bombs at that point, so they probably wouldn't have saved too much time, but... ^^
Anyway, after a few promising but unsuccessful attempts... this run happened. And yep, this time I remembered to use bombs in the Zone 5 boss battles. =)
So anyway, here it is... my first ever sub-12 Nocturna win! Hope you enjoy!

4:11 Helm! Still haven't found any extra health, so a little extra defense is nice! Hmm, actually, Helm + Protection Charm is kind of like having Chainmail. =)

5:30 Ow. Lost a lot of time due to the 3-3 swarm + shove monsters, so I was thinking about trying to rush the King... and promptly made a careless mistake, took damage... and decided to play things more normally instead. ^^;

7:53 Also, didn't notice at the time, but the water ball actually negated the ooze that should've appeared under Nocturna here. =)

8:08 Z4B: Fortissimole 4. Whoops, completely forgot about the Shield Spell! ^^; Well, since Nocturna's a bat now, might as well try to get at least half a heart of healing before transforming back. ^_^
8:30 Flawless! Reward: (skipped for time) Also, might as well stay in bat form until after the stairs, to get some mapping on 5-1. ^^
