Cavalcadence plays Nocturna 5: Zone 5 & Fortissimole!
So... Crypt of the NecroDancer: AMPLIFIED, the long-awaited DLC, was released earlier today! ^_^
So of course, the first thing I did was try out the new character: Nocturna. =) Since Zone 5 was unlocked initially, I was tempted to jump right into Zone 5... but I figured it might be best to play through the other Zones with Nocturna first, just to get a better feel for how she plays, without having to worry about figuring out new enemies and hazards at the same time.
As it turns out, though, some of the Zone 5 enemies and hazards actually leak into the earlier Zones for Nocturna... so I did have to figure out new enemies and hazards after all. ^^;
So by the time I made it to Zone 5, I actually had some familiarity with the Zone 5 enemies and hazards. Without that familiarity, I don't think I would've completed Zone 5 on my first try. ^^; So even though having new enemies in the earlier zones did make those zones more difficult... it actually ended up making Zone 5 a little bit easier. ^_^
The new boss (Fortissimole!) did take some figuring out, though... but fortunately, Nocturna still had a good amount of health, as well as a decent amount of armor by that point, so things didn't go quite as badly as they could have. ^^;
Anyway, here's it is... my first ever Nocturna vs. Zone 5 run... hope you enjoy!

Zone 5: Gray Direbat, Metrognome, Gray Minotaur, & Fortissimole 5.
