Cavalcadence plays Story Mode 8: Cadence, 0-gold challenge, Green Bat #54 (Story Mode: AMPLIFIED)
So just for fun, I decided to try some 0-gold Story Mode attempts, just to see how far I could get. =) Anyway, after a couple pretty bad uh, let's call them "practice" runs... I had a run that seemed to be going pretty well. I made it past Nocturna's story, and was about halfway through Cadence's story when the game decided to send me... yep, my first ever Story Mode Green Bat. ^^;
Anyway, Cadence managed to defeat the Green Bat without getting hit or stepping on any gold... so I figured I might as well try to continue with the 0-gold attempt. I didn't manage to make it to the end... but overall, I'm still pretty happy with this run. =)
Oh, interestingly, in addition to the Green Bat, this run also had a walled crypt... which is also pretty rare! Didn't have quite enough time to see what was inside (lost the glass spear and spent a lot of time at the shrine of pain, trying to find a good replacement), but... ^_^
Anyway, though I wasn't quite able to get to the end, it was still a lot of fun. So here's the video... hope you enjoy!
