Hey everyone! I've Cave Story on my mind lately, and just played through it for like the fifteenth (honestly it's probably more than that... I have a problem) time earlier this week. This one of the better songs on the soundtrack and probably the one I hear the least often in game, because it only plays on the bad ending. I tried some cool stuff with this one, and am continuing on with my Mega Man style percussion. I also, for the first time, used a base to make a cover. Generally I make all the instruments from scratch when I start a cover, but I'm seeing what happens if I just make the once and reuse them or tweak them if necessary. Hopefully this saves me some time and makes my covers sound more consistent! I also changed the layout, because now that I use Occ-Famitracker I wanted those cool looking registers on the side.
