CBNST: Beating the Developer Time - Eggipus Rex (CB3) 0:38:93 [PC] (No Hobslides)
After a string of tough and/or annoying developer times starting since Mad Bombers, we finally have an easy developer time for us to beat. In fact, this level’s developer time is actually beatable even if you are riding Baby T for the entire level, though it is not recommended to do so if you are aiming for a decent time.
There’s not much to say about the strategy to beat the level’s developer time. Though I’d like to say that it is recommended to crack Baby T’s egg first before you begin the time trial. Also, ignore him until the section where the first pterosaur is located and you have to lose him by taking damage on the steam at 0:50 once you reached the second half of the level. Other than that, you shouldn’t have a problem with this level unless you don’t know about glitched high jumps (which I assume you can perform it with ease). And btw, you can't perform Mach Tornadoes here due to the lack of long solid grounds in this level.
I’m happy for my current time as I had clocked 38 seconds in this level, which is a very good time considering that I didn’t perform the hobslide (which I can’t perform and it’s impossible to do so if you had the Death Tornado in Crash 3) near the beginning of the level. And now, there's only one more developer time for me to beat, which is the second hardest level by level design in the entire trilogy.
