Despite the level being annoying, the developer time itself however, is quite lenient and easy to beat if you know what you should do.

To beat the developer time, you had to jump off to the next side-scrolling part instead of descending through the platform to save some time. Besides, using the Aku Aku masks on the hazards helps to save time too, preferably on the steams and the heat pipes where you can rush through them.

I’m pretty satisfied for my time of this level as I had achieved my target of beating the developer time by 15 seconds.
