-------------------------
Welcome back for another CDP, and this time I'm taking a rogue-minded approach to the Maliss archetype with their first wave of additional support. The Maliss archetype consists of Cyberse monsters that love to Link Summon and be banished, brining themselves back into play at a paltry cost of LP. They're also unique for their Trap Card support, as each can be activated the turn it is set at the cost of banishing a Maliss monster you control. This theme already has made waves in the competitive scene, so I don't think I have to go into too many of its first batch of cards, so instead I'll focus on the two new ones. First up is Maliss [P] March Hare, which gives the deck the ability to play on the opponent's turn! That's right, it has a Quick Effect in the hand to banish another Maliss card from the hand/GY to Special Summon itself. Unlike the other Main Deck monsters, when March Hare itself is banished, it can add a banished Maliss monster to hand, giving you a bit more versatility as well. The other new support card is Maliss in the Mirror, a Quick-Play Spell that lets you negate an opponent's monster's effects for the turn. I honesty get more excited about this card's second effect, as if it is banished, it can banish another Maliss card from your GY to tutor a card of the same Card Type. This gives you so much more consistency, not that the deck really needed it.
So this theme can do crazy link things - you know what other Cyberse Deck can do that? The @Ignister cards also in Alliance Insight. That's right, Wizard @Ignister and Backup @Ignister can really go hard here, giving you additional DARK Cyberse monsters to build up your bank of material for Link Summons. With TA.I.es as well, you have access to any of the Cyberse monsters you need, and that includes your Maliss monsters themselves. So the goal of this deck quickly becomes spamming material to make big Link boards. Firewall Dragon Singularity, Firewall Dragon Darkfluid - Neo Tempest Teraherz, and so many others can come out to play, augmenting the already strong Maliss Link monsters. Finally, the A.I. theme also offers PA.I.rtners to the fray, letting you negate cards the opponent controls equal to the number of Cyberse monsters with 2300 original ATK. This includes Maliss [Q] Red Ransom and Maliss [Q] White Binder, as well as your Code Talkers up through Accode Talker @Ignister. Add even more power to the Maliss strategy by introducing the @Ignisters!
