CDP: Sky Striker Mitsurugi, ft. DUAD Support

Today's CDP dives right into the format of imagination, as I combine cards only released so far in the OCG with a TCG World Premiere archetype. Why build in this space? Well, it still can be valuable for inspiring you to reach beyond the standard Tenpai or Ryzeal hybrid builds, and see just how much each side of the deck can contribute as an engine, even if you don't dedicate a pure build to them!
Now that I've addressed that potential faux-pax, let's talk Sky Striker. This theme is well-known at this point, featuring LINK Machine monsters and a whole bunch of Spell Cards. They're receiving a few key pieces of support in the DUAD set, and first up is Sky Striker Alternative - Lemnis Gate. This Quick-Play Spell loses the no-monsters requirement, and offers the ability to shuffle an equal number of Sky Striker Ace monsters and Sky Striker Spells from your GY back into the Deck. Depending on how many in total are returned, you'll also get to return a card on the field for every 3! This gives the theme even more disruption during the opponent's turn, not to mention its GY effect to banish itself and immediately Link Summon! The other new support card is a LINK-2 monster, Sky Striker Ace - Zero. Zero gives you two options - tutor a Sky Striker Spell when Special Summoned, or tribute itself to summon both Sky Striker Ace - Raye and Sky Striker Ace - Roze from your Deck/GY. Since the second choice gives you two Level 4 monsters, if it seems like the perfect way to get to a R4NK Xyz Summon, you're on my wavelength!
Of course, the R4NK of choice for this hybrid build is King of the Feral Imps, able to tutor any Reptile monster including your swath of Mitsurugi monsters. Grab Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Saji, and you can access Mitsurugi Spell/Trap Cards like your Mitsurugi Ritual. If you already have Ritual, feel free to grab one of the actual Rituals and go for a Ritual play. In this build, the Mitsurugi may be able to spam a lot of monsters to the board, but you always have the backup plan of Sky Striker plays should that Reptile strategy go awry. Either way, Sky Striker Mobilize - Engage! is sure to keep up your resources, offsetting the heavy negatives that can come with a Ritual Deck and setting you up for long-term success in the duel! Sometimes it takes thinking outside the box to be inspired, so race on out there with the new Striker weapons!
