The exterior of the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, where the red carpet is laid every year for the Oscars, has turned into an open-air podium thanks to Gucci. Famous names such as Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus followed the colorful fashion show, while names such as Jared Leto, Macaulay Culkin and Jodie Turner-Smith personally participated in the podium show called 'Love Parade' and surprised the audience.
The previous day, Gucci's 'Parade of Love' fashion show was held on Hollywood Boulevard.
The Love Parade took place outside the Dolby Theatre, where the annual red carpet is laid for the Oscars. Thanks to the fashion show, the famous street turned into an open-air podium.
Celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Lizzo and Billie Eilish attended the premiere of a series of new designs by Gucci's creative director, Alessandro Michele, alongside the crowd of fashion lovers.
The timing of the show was unusual. Because it wasn't part of London, Milan, Paris or New York fashion weeks.
Alessandro Michele announced in May 2020 that Gucci would abandon the traditional fashion calendar and hold their own independent show twice a year.
Some celebrities not only watched the fashion show, but also walked the runway. One of those names was Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto.
The 49-year-old actor also has a special connection with the brand. He played Paolo Gucci in the movie House of Gucci, which will be released this month, also starring Lady Gaga and Adam Driver.
British sculptor Jodie Turner-Smith wore a stunning red and green feathered coat from the designer's new collection.
