--- STORY ---
...It's been three months since my last FC silver video. Making these long paragraphs are starting to get kinda old, and also I'm tired, so I'm gonna keep it short.
Time to get the most obvious thing out of the way first, the file timer's changing values. After I collected the Cycle Madness FC silver, I wasn't entirely satisfied with my video. More specifically, my gym video and my New Jank City FC silver video. My gym video was sloppily rushed and didn't include the advanced cornerboost tutorial deathless. So I went ahead and refilmed it quickly. As for the New Jank City FC silver video, it turns out that it's actually possible to get the first berry after grabbing the silver berry; it just requires a really precise 5-jump. So I went ahead and refilmed that quickly, too. So yeah, if you see my file timer switching from somewhere in the 200 or 300-hour mark to the 500-hour mark, you'll know why. Unfortunately, there may be some parts of the video which aren't flawlessly cropped, due to my recklessness of not doing the intro rooms deathless. Although this doesn't nullify my entry in the funny golden list, it doesn't provide much continuity in the video. Sorry about that.
Anyways, back to the main topic on hand, the three-month delay, most of those three months were spent on other Celeste projects, or other game projects entirely. I was able to knock out most of the expert FC silvers relatively quickly, as they weren't that much more difficult than the advanced FC silvers. But then came the dreaded Cycle Madness FC silver. Totaling at about 6 and a half minutes of solid red expert gameplay that also dips into grandmaster territory is not the easiest thing in the world, especially when it's all cycles. Also, my strats weren't necessarily the best, so after about a week or so, I dropped it in favor of other things to do that I felt were more fun.
But it always lingered in the back of my mind, until one day, out on a whim, I decided to do some attempts, hopefully, to get myself warmed up for the next few days in which I would grind it out. Not even a few hours later, I succeeded. I'm glad I did. Cycle Madness is a great map, but it was hell on earth to silver. There's a reason why I was listening to external music while playing (rhythm doctor has good ost lol).

One difficulty left. My hardest set of challenges yet.
Am I ready? Probably not. Oh well, see you soon.
