Hi, community! After 5 months of hard work and suffering, I liked to share with you the result of all this. It"s a final project of a Master I did in CICE – La Escuela de Nuevas Tecnologías in Madrid, Spain with Houdini FX. I started my career 4 years ago in Barcelona, where I learned the basics of 3D and post production in FX Animation Barcelona. After finishing in 2015, I started to work and save money for paying my new studies, to specialize in Houdini FX in CICE. In May of 2016 I started the Master and in October at the end, I decided to do this great final project for the school taking 5 shots, at first it was a lot of work but with effort and illusion I could do it at time.
All work was made by me. I took the references from the film “Battle for Sevastopol” which was a wonderful madness for me, it had it all, fluids, explosions, smoke, fire, particles so it would be a challenge for me, and an opportunity to demonstrate my school what I was able to do. Finally, some artists of the film congratulated me and gave me the best feedback. Today, with this job and a good reel, I hope to get my dream come true, work in the industry once and for all.
