Blue Lightning review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Blue Lightning for the Atari Lynx developed by Epyx and published by Atari.

Developed by the same team responsible for the platform itself, Blue Lightning brought awesome midair dogfighting to the Epyx Handy—er, the Atari Lynx. Similar to a game like Star Fox, the remarkable thing about Blue Lightning is that it was released several years earlier and for a handheld platform. Pretty impressive technology, to say the least. Blue Lightning still holds up today, with solid graphics and fun gameplay. The levels feature several different environments, ranging from countrysides to oceans and glaciers, and include topography of various elevations. For example, one level takes place inside a canyon! Blue Lightning is a single-player flight game on the Atari Lynx.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Blue Lightning for the Atari Lynx and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
