Scrapyard Dog review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Scrapyard Dog for the Atari Lynx developed by Creative Software and published by Atari.

Originally developed for the Atari 7800, Scrapyard Dog made its way to the Lynx in 1991. Oddly enough, this is widely considered the better version thanks to improved graphics and sound. Behold the power of the Lynx! Scrapyard Dog is a simple platformer in concept, but don’t be fooled—it’s also a serious challenge. Your puppy is kidnapped, and you give chase from the junkyard to the forest as you try to rescue him. The game is known for its many hidden secrets, including lots of warp points and shops where you can buy new items. Despite the game’s cute exterior, however, this is a very difficult game that may frustrate a lot of players. Scrapyard Dog is a single-player game on the Atari Lynx.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Scrapyard Dog for the Atari Lynx and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
