Darius Twin is part of the Darius series of shoot ‘em ups, set in the aftermath of Darius II. It’s a classically styled side-scrolling shooter in which players must shoot enemies, power up their ship and shoot more enemies. Though its genre and gameplay may be familiar, the interesting thing about Darius Twin is its look—the game features a unique aquatic theme. Some of the levels take place above and even inside the ocean, and the enemies are intricate-looking biomechanical aquatic creature things. Hey, what else do you call a giant robot squid? Darius Twin includes single-player and local multiplayer.
