Goldie Marketing is one of the world's leading providers of Super Mario and Nintendo collectible toys. And one of their most popular lines is their Super Mario figurines. Series 2 and 3 include six characters each. Series 2 includes Mario, Luigi, Princess Daisy, Koopa Troopa, Lakitu and Shy Guy. Series 3 includes Fire Mario, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Toad, Donkey Kong and Dixie Kong. Goldie's series are usually split in the same way, with three common characters and three less obvious choices. For Nintendo fans, that makes these series a must-purchase. The quality is a bit inconsistent from item to item, but in general, the Goldie figurines are very well done. They often use actual poses from official Nintendo art, from Mario's straight-ahead look in New Super Mario Bros. to Mario's triumphant jump, his fist held high and belly full of lasagna. These figurines are available individually and in complete sets. Because some figures are more rare than others, buying them in complete sets is definitely the recommended approach. Goldie Marketing delivers another winner with their Super Mario figurine series.
