The NES got two Ghostbusters games, and to be perfectly honest, bustin’ didn’t make us feel good in either of them. But overseas, gamers were treated to a Ghostbusters game North American audiences never received— New Ghostbusters II. From the makers of such NES classics as Kirby’s Adventure and the Adventures of Lolo, New Ghostbusters II is a top-down action game that takes place in locations from the movie! From the courthouse and the subway tunnels to Venkman’s apartment and the river of slime, New Ghostbusters II is loaded with details and references that make it a great representation of the film. It’s also one of the best Ghostbusters games ever made. New Ghostbusters II is a single-player and multiplayer game, sadly, never released in the States.
