Solar 2 brings all the excitement of the cold, dead emptyness of space onto your PC. That might not sound like much, but when you think about it, space is a pretty interesting place. Asteroids (one of which might be controlled by you) smash into each other, spraying cosmic dust and creating objects of greater and greater mass, until one grows large enough to be considered a "planet." And then the planet continues to get bigger and bigger, by dragging asteroids into orbit and then absorbing them through means that your professors probably wouldn't approve of.
