A pre-rendered answer to Nintendo’s Donkey Kong Country, X-Perts brought the pseudo-3D craze to the SEGA Genesis. And it brought Shadow Yamoto from Eternal Champions along for the ride. In what is basically a spin-off to that game, Shadow forms a vigilante group on a mission to protect an underwater base from terrorists. As members of an underwater base ourselves, we sympathize with her plight. X-Perts is a side-scrolling beat ‘em up in which players control three characters simultaneously and take on various missions in the threatened base. Can you save the place from terrorists?
