Imagine if the 3DS game Steel Diver had been released two decades earlier for the original Game Boy. That’s The Hunt For Red October. This is a side-scrolling shooter in which players steer a submarine through eight different levels, blasting enemy ships and avoiding torpedoes along the way. The game is based on the 1990 film, which features Sean Connery and is therefore awesome. The game plays well and features surprisingly diverse environments given its age and platform. The Hunt For Red October is a single-player game on the Game Boy.
