Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom review. CGRundertow presents a video game review of Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom for the NES.

The NES was home to some real gems of adventure games, but in a few different extremes. In the middle were the MacVenture games (Shadowgate, Déjà vu, etc). Then there was Kings Quest V and Nightshade on the more PC style side of things, and then there was this, a colorful, charming, completely menu based adventure game.
Princess Tomato has a childish coat of paint and an easy going feel, but features a unique take on the adventure game format. And features on the creepiest mugshots in video game history. Seriously Percy, get that smirk off your face. Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom is a simple game available on the NES and the Wii Virtual Console.
