CGRundertow THE LITTLE MERMAID for Game Boy Video Game Review
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of the Little Mermaid from Capcom for the Game Boy. The Little Mermaid came along right in the middle of the Capcom/Disney era, a relationship that proved video games based on movies can be awesome in good hands. Now, the Little Mermaid isn't quite Duck Tales or anything, especially not on the Game Boy, but it's still a solid portable game crafted from Capcom's triton true formula. The Little Mermaid is like a mixture of R-Type and Bubble Bobble, and strange as that may sound, it's an accurate description. Ariel swims all over the screen, and she can attack enemies with a flip of her tail, like an underwater R-Type. This traps the enemies in bubbles, hence the Bobble. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Little Mermaid for the Game Boy and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
