This fight is kind of interesting. Less so in the boss battle itself the only gimmick of note is an instakill bomb. But moreso in terms of the story options. You'll have to fight the boss regardless but if you let her leave and fight her in the village she'll kill the profiteers and you'll fight her in the village.

On the other hand if you choose to fight her at the throne room the fairies will either be beaten or killed off depending on the answer you give. Either way the surviving fairy will summon a new queen that will kill the profiteers once again. But instead of fighting this new queen Magnolia will one shot it. Either way you get a less than happy ending and Magnolia will join your party as the third optional party member.
