We're finally getting an in-game explanation of what the echoes are in "Chained Echoes" and why they're relevant to the story! It's pretty clear who Lenne was in a past life, we've seen a couple flashbacks have told us quite a bit, but Glenn's past life has to remain a mystery because if Victor and Ba'Thraz tell him, it'll literally blow his mind so hard that he'll die, which... Obviously isn't a good thing. But at least Lenne's memories give us a path to follow while we wait for Cameron to wake up so he can tell us more about how to destroy the Grand Grimoire.
And on our way to the floating continent of Shambala, we meet Ser Egyl! He's so much fun! We barely see him here but I'm already loving him and want extended interactions between him and Tomke. I don't think they'll happen in the game but it's definitely gonna be part of my headcannon.
