Description:

At first, they don't seem to be too hard, but if you knock one of them to critical HP without killing them, they'll enter Challenge Mode, which may require you to spam healing items along with Soothing Wave to keep up. Unlike me, you may want to use water resisting accessories to mitigate the damage somewhat.

I really wish the ATB speed was a bit slower to compensate for the fact that you have to press the action key to get into a character's menu. It's really easy to lose the initiative to enemies with the current ATB settings.

After winning, you'll get another trial in the center of Ren's mind, though it'll be a lot tougher than before. I have no idea what happens if you pick the other old man.
