Changes I like to see in 2025 to Rust
changes to rust id like to see in 2025
The ideas just popped in my head and were not all well said or thought out but I'm pretty fair and reasonable. I'm sorry I was breathing in my mic at some points. The tape holding it together is just a bad seed and the next time I retape it. I'll fix it.
-rad pills have a short timer for being able to go into rad towns rather than just removing radiation. like maybe a minute and a half or two minutes.
-remove craftable tech tree so gear fear comes back, as in all items you don't have researched you want to get back to your base. You want to go out
and raid, loot monunments as much as possible and chase people for an eternity. -Add the tier 3 tech tree inside launchsite main puzzle - Add tier 2
tech tree inside of powerplant puzzle. - add tier 1 tech tree at gas station and mining outpost. It seems the only Points of interest are the ocean
monuments for explosives and everything else is kind of just a scrap farm or afk buying things at outpost. Add satchel charge chance per say to
give a green card in a regular box and tool boxes. as a 3rd item.
-Make road scientists only shoot people with bows, crossys or guns.
-Increase the cost of making a stone wall to 1000. This would make it so people have more early game progression on farming. Makes stone more relavent
passed the first day in groups over 4 people. Increase decay costs for stone and metal at an exponential rate after a 2by2by2 with honey comb.
highqual upkeep is punishing already at this point it's fine. This would make it punishing for big bases and zergs giving them something to do
or letting solo players raid them.
-When ever you seal a base underwater make it so you can place something like a dropbox that drains it and you can place a tc in it. Shouldn't
be too hard to code if you did it with the wall papers not being able to be placed outside. Can do like a screen visibility and gravity check
paraments or something. Not sure not a coder. Also make an actually airlock that drains the room of water to enter the base.
-give torches small heat buffs for being able to climb snow mountains and not die but slowly die instead while being a huge target.
-Just increase night vision. Tabbing out and opening geforce to increase gamma like half the playerbase and destroying incompotent players with
less than 50k hours who didn't know that isn't fun for them or me. Decreases immersion.
-add facepunch servers that require a monthly premium subscription. log only offical servers actual in-game time and create white list servers for a threshold of a certain amount of hours
to actually deal with the everyday cheater problem. The statistic would have to be started soon and probally hidden. I know counter-strike source did
this I think. Unless they just added the stat late but I'm pretty sure I've seen csgo sites with half the overall ingame time I think logged just for
in-game matchmaking. Maybe ask steam. Can add afk kick timers. Can make a premium sub server where you have a service like 24/7 admins for certain
offical servers. I think that's really profitable and having a live service game with some motherfucking service would be nice and innovative.
-increase cloth spawns by a lot. Don't add more spawns just the respawn rate.
A bow makes starts way easier and it can take a while to get a bow on high pop wipe days.
-make it so you can spawn anywhere on the beach around the map including snow parts. The torch update i mentionted above should help at night time.
high pop weekly servers are so aids trying to get a start if your late. I don't think tier 2/tier 3 parts of the map is really nessecary at the moment. Especially
if the tech tree is in the game. Maybe put the 2 teir 3 mounements in the middle of the map?
-a loading screen bar/percentage
