I've always thought that it was weird that TheNiteFlyer could acquire the power of my own channel for his own. So I did what I did best whilst being a wanderer to these glitchy halls, empty spaces, warped senses of time. After an unknown amount of time thinking...it finally hit me like a ton of bricks!
The Mask, THE MASK.
In the video 'Goodbye' and 'Goodbye: Remastered', it doesn't matter which one, because they both show the same scene. I remove my mask and Darknite Flyer takes up...my...mantle...?
But...TheNiteFlyer...in a few years time as far as I'm aware, takes Darknite Flyer's spot for his own. See, this is where my theory falls apart. If Mask = Power + Entity promotion, Sub-Entity status to Main Entity status. Then why wasn't Dark strong enough to fight of 'The Contract' AKA TheNiteFlyer. TheNiteFlyer never actually claimed the silver mask beforehand...unless he did? And we didn't know it.
But, it could also be the case that his Devil Mask is the main reason why he was able to defeat and [unalive] Darknite Flyer. Maybe the Devil Mask is more powerful than the silver one...I mean, it seems like TheNiteFlyer can camouflage the red one and wear my silver one over it.
And let's not forget that Papa Pyrocynical mentioned that there was another White Mask also circulation through the ether some how. Anyway, this is the end of this thought for now.
