Channel Update 13: Not so brief history of why I do LP's and stuff
Yea I figured I'd touch on basically why I bother doing videos when only like 3-4 people are actively watching at least one of my series. For those of you who are too lazy to listen to 23 minutes of me talking in circles, I'll give you an abridged version below.
Basically I first started watching LP's when I saw TeamFourStar's Left 4 Dead 2 LP back in January 2011 (and Lanipator's Amnesia LP on his blog: lanipwned.blogspot.com). From there I found SSoH's channel through a random Minecraft video that was on one of the old youtube home page's (back when they showed the top videos from each category), and that's how I got into a bunch of other Youtube LPers and also marks the beginning of my time with Minecraft. After watching SSoH for a few months, I found out about his friend, LazyCanuckk and how he was pretty much finally just starting his own youtube LP career on only a few Final Fantasy 1 videos. That's basically the main thing that kind of motivated me to give this whole LP thing a shot, and because it's not super time consuming I've been able to keep it going for over 18 months so far.
That being said, I kind of had a secondary motivation for doing this, and it's my completely unrealistic desire to eventually at some point get to know either LazyCanuckk or SSoH and maybe do a few videos with them just for fun. I know it'll probably never happen, especially since I'm not well known at all after 18 months of doing this stuff but it's something that I'd like to do if I ever get the chance.
If you wanna know more about what to expect going up on my channel in the next few days/weeks, be sure to check out my blog: trigunxsword.blogspot.com for weekly updates on what I have recorded and for insight into future projects.
