Duels is a fantastic new mode for Chaos Reborn. It's basically a 1v1 equipped mode battle but the thing that makes it stand out is that the wait times are never more than a minute because an AI opponent is selected if no human opponent can be found. (That's important considering the game has a small playerbase.)

If the AI is ordinarily competent in normal equipped mode battles, it's downright intimidating at higher Duel Levels because it gets increased mana bonuses for spell-boosting and mega-spell activation on top of its free turn-1 talisman activations.

At Duel Level 11, the AI is able to activate the mega-spell A Slither of Hydras on turn 1.
