I had to use my own weaker Reimu but with the NPC Reimu you should do better. Medicine was barely upgraded. Strategy is straightforward, just make sure you time Medicine so she can use TWO CONSECUTIVE 1-Power Boosted Spell card. This will allow you to have 4 Wood Element attacks (2+2) and break Yukari's barrier.
