Chapter 1 part 1
0A blast from the... last few years, this time! The Journey Down - developed mainly by a team of four or so, and I went to school with two of them. (Ooooo!)
This game started as an Adventure Game Studio title, so this is essentially an HD-ish remake (doesn't actually render at HD resolution, but hey) of an old-school point-and-click adventure game. I will be pointing out some influences from Grim Fandango and Monkey Island 2 - two games which I know first-hand that one of the team enjoyed to high heaven.
Heh, most of this game is just like being back in drawing class with the guy!
Annnnnnnnnnyway, let's travel, now, to Kingsport Bay, where Bwana and Kito... well... they just been OWNED! Stay tuned, these aren't long games.
(BTW, this game really lends itself well to H.264 compression - CRAZY small videos at fair resolution! Static backgrounds FTW.)
