This is Chapter 7 of ‘The Protector – Volume 1’. One of my favourites to write, although looking back now, I wish I handled the conflict between Roza and Zane differently. Although I cannot deny how much I love Roza's dialogue (and Cammie's delivery of such) and her display. I feel like Roza really was one of my ace's in this book... it's a shame she's been cut from the rewrite! Yep! Spoilers for the future, but Roza didn't really have a place in the new plot. I did have big plans for her but once I reset things, she became just another side character. So this iteration voice-acted by the terrific Cammie Mile is all you're going to get! Also, welcome back MC Dent / Marcus! These two actually did their lines together in person, so things flow much more naturally so all-in-all, I think this is one of the best chapters of the audiobook! Editing could've been a little better, sure, but I'm really, really happy with the results! In addition, I altered the ending compared to the original book, just having Zane's thoughts lingering to the end instead of him offering to make food for Yulia. It just worked better that way.
