It's done! I've completed Doki Doki Literature Club in its entirety, I've seen every easter egg, unlocked every picture and witnessed the new evidence of Project Libitina, giving us a small glimpse into the future of Team Salvato. It took me 11 resets and multiple times reloading in order to find all the secrets, but I cut most of it out as it was 3 hours of me replaying the game. Within this video you'll find: a playthrough of Act 2, and Act 3 with myself answering Monika's hypothetical questions for just under an hour, discovering the answers to all the folders and their timecodes, then finding every other secret I can, reading all leftover poems and new emails.

This was an emotional ride for me. I go in-depth at the end on why this game means so much to me. I can't believe it's over now. But for whatever the future hold, whatever Dan and Team Salvato release next, I'll be to play it. Although this is quite possibly the end of the road for Monika, Sayori, Yuri and Natsuki, witnessing all of these characters and their individual story arcs play out has been a treat.

Doki Doki Literature Club! is a 2017 American freeware visual novel developed by Team Salvato for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux. The game was initially distributed through itch.io and later became available on Steam. The story is told from the perspective of a high school student who reluctantly joins the school's literature club on the insistence of their best friend, given the option to woo three of its four female members. Doki Doki Literature Club! features a non-traditional plot structure with multiple endings and unlockable cutscenes with each of the main characters. Although the game initially appears to be a lighthearted dating simulator, it is in fact a psychological horror game that extensively breaks the fourth wall, following a programme that, after acquiring sentience, seeks to escape the simulator into the real world, growing obsessed with the person playing the game. The game was developed in an estimated two-year period by a team led by Dan Salvato, previously known for his modding work as part of Project M. According to Salvato, the inspiration for the game came from his mixed feelings toward anime and a fascination for surreal and unsettling experiences. Upon its release, Doki Doki Literature Club! received positive critical attention for its successful use of horror elements and unconventional nature within the visual novel genre. The game also inspired internet memes and achieved a large following online. An expanded version of the game, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!, was released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Windows on June 30, 2021. It received generally positive reviews, with praise for its side stories and gameplay on consoles, but some criticism for its lack of changes. Unlike the original 2017 release, Plus! is a premium game.
