Today we continue our discussion of "Character - The Grandest Thing In The World", a book written by Orison Swett Marden and published in 1899. This is a fascinating book, and is labeled by many as one of the first of a wave of self help type books that swept late 1800's America.

Chapter 2 discusses many themes, including charity and happiness, as well as providing examples of how character can be shaped by such things. We are introduced also to the concept of the "Light Bearer".
