I've created a datapack that adds Charcoal Pits to Minecraft! With this datapack, you can exchange a bit of time and wood for a lot of coal, great for when you want to smelt a lot of stuff. This is the perfect companion for a Survival world. This datapack was inspired by Terra Firma Craft.
(shamelessly copying Dream's tagging style) this is NOT a mod, resource pack or texture pack. This is a #Minecraft #Datapack for Survival mode. It uses commands, not command blocks, and functions. It does not change loot tables or recipes, or smelt wood, it instead burns logs with flames.
