Come join me on December 18th, 2015 at 10AM Pacific for a charity stream supporting the National Brain Tumor Society. I'm hoping to make this an annual Effing tradition to commemorate my father, Larry, who died in 2008 as a result of glioblastoma multiforme.
Glioblastoma multiforme, like many brain tumors, is extremely difficult to treat. However, researchers are getting closer and closer to finding effective methods in combating this form of cancer. Recently, doctors in Toronto pioneered a method of safely penetrating the blood-brain barrier using microscopic bubbles to allow anti-cancer drugs to effectively attack tumors. Your support will help researchers take even more steps towards fighting this terrible disease.
I would love to raise $1,500 this year, since we got close to $1,400 last year. If you're wondering why the goal on the fundraising page is $2,895, it's because I'm using the same page as last year. We raised $1,395 in 2014, so I've upped our goal by $1,500 to $2,895.
Contributions are by no means required. Please come and watch, or better yet, play! I'm going to play a wider selection of multiplayer games so that I can play them with you all. I mention some games in the video, but feel free to suggest more!
